Awards Day for Girl Guides (Tunas Puteri)

26 JUN 2013 (WEDNESDAY) - Some of the guides got their badges upgraded by Pn Norhayah (Leader of the Guides Patrol) with the help of some of her assistants (Cik Suzanah)during the Uniforms' Activities. Meanwhile, for those who were already upgraded had their test on different activities. They were then had their badge awards to add to their collections. Congrats to the Girl Guides Patrol. GUIDES' PRE-WARRANT COURSE (Kursus Pra-Waran Pandu Puteri)

30th March & 1st April (Thursday & Friday): Three teachers from St Mary, (me) Haslinda Midy @ PK KOKUM, Zuraidah Ag Damit & Suzanah Ali Hassan, @ both Girl Guides teachers, went for a two-days course of Girl Guides' Pre-Warrant at Wisma Pandu Puteri Kota Kinabalu. There were about 71 teachers who attended the course and it was really quite refreshing for those who are out-of-touch with the skills and new skills to those new selected teachers. We learned about knots, some forgotten songs, oath, rules and more information on how to handle activities at schools.

UJIAN LENCANA (GUIDES' UPGRADING TEST)

Congratulations to all Tunas Puteri (Girl Guides) kerana mendapat kenaikan lencana setelah mengikuti ujian pra persetiaan selepas diuji oleh guru pemimpin Tunas Puteri iaitu Pn Norhayah Hakim, Cik Suzanah Ali Hassan & Pn Zuraidah Ag Damit pada akhir tahun 2010. Pada hari Rabu yang lalu (9hb Mac 2011), ahli Tunas Puteri juga telah diuji berkaitan dengan salah satu aktiviti Tunas Puteri iaitu 'mendandan rambut di salun' yang dikendalikan oleh Pn Norhayah Hakim. Kepada semua guru pemimpin Tunas Puteri, teruskan usaha kalian dalam melaksanakan sasaran kerja tahunan 2011. Tahniah kerana dapat melaksanakan sebahagian aktiviti yang dirancang.
